👦 Ages 10–13 · Code Explorers

From beginner to builder —
coding for 10-year-olds in India

10 is where coding gets real. Plural's Code Explorers moves your child from block coding into Python, JavaScript games, and working web apps — with a live mentor in a batch of just 8. No experience required.

The leap that matters

10 is where coders are made

Most coding apps stop at block coding. Most school curricula haven't caught up to 2026. At 10, your child is ready for the real thing — Python, actual game logic, and web apps they can share. Code Explorers is designed exactly for this moment.

🐍

Real Python, not toys

From the very first session, kids write actual Python code. Variables, loops, functions, and data structures — the same language used by engineers at Google, ISRO, and startups everywhere.

🎮

JavaScript games they can share

Every 10-year-old wants to build a game. Code Explorers teaches JavaScript through game projects — your child builds games their classmates can actually play in a browser.

🌐

Web pages that look great

HTML, CSS, and interactivity — your child builds a personal website or portfolio page they're proud to show. Real web development, not a template generator.

🧠

Algorithmic thinking

Code Explorers teaches how to break problems into steps, spot patterns, and write clean logic — skills that transfer to maths, science, and competitive exams.

👥

Max 8 kids per batch

Not a YouTube tutorial. Not a class of 40. Your child gets live, personal attention in every session — the mentor knows their pace, their interests, and what gets them excited.

📈

Clear path to AI

Code Explorers feeds directly into the AI Builders program. By 13, your child will be building real AI tools — LLMs, APIs, machine learning models. The foundation is laid here.

What your child will build

A portfolio of real projects by the end of term

Every project in Code Explorers is something your child builds from scratch and keeps. No templates, no copy-paste tutorials — they design it, they build it, they ship it.

Month 1 · Python

Number Wizard Game

Your child writes their first Python program — a number-guessing game with difficulty levels, a score counter, and custom messages. It runs in the terminal and plays surprisingly well.

Month 2 · JavaScript

Arcade Game in the Browser

A working arcade-style game built with JavaScript — moving characters, score tracking, levels, and sound effects. Friends can play it at the link; no app download needed.

Month 3 · HTML + CSS

Personal Website

A designed, live personal page — about page, project showcase, and a contact form. Hosted online with a real link your child can share with family and in school profiles.

Month 4 · Python + Data

Data Story Project

Pick a topic — cricket stats, Bollywood movies, Indian cities — and write Python to fetch, analyse, and visualise the data. A taste of what data scientists do every day.

FAQ

Questions from parents of 10-year-olds

10 is an excellent age — and if your child has done a little Scratch or block coding before, they're ready to make a serious leap. At 10, children can read and write comfortably, handle multi-step abstract reasoning, and stay focused long enough to build real projects. Code Explorers is designed specifically for this transition: from playful visual coding to actual Python and JavaScript.
In Code Explorers, 10-year-olds build a Python number game, a JavaScript arcade game playable in the browser, a personal website with a live URL, and a data analysis project on a topic they choose. By the end of the first term they have a portfolio of 4 real projects — all their own, all shareable.
School coding in India is still largely Scratch-based and happens once a week in a class of 30–40 students. Plural's Code Explorers teaches real Python and JavaScript in live 90-minute sessions, capped at 8 students. The mentor knows each child personally. Every session ships a working project, not a worksheet. And the curriculum builds toward AI and ML as your child advances through the programs.
Yes. The first 2 weeks (2 live sessions) are completely free. If your child doesn't love it, you pay nothing — no questions asked. We're confident they'll want to stay.
Not at all. Code Explorers picks up where Scratch leaves off. In the very first session we move into Python — real text-based code — which is a meaningful new challenge even for kids with block coding experience. If your child has more advanced experience, our mentors will assess them before the first class and place them in the right level.
Any laptop or tablet from the last 5–6 years works fine. We recommend a laptop for coding (typing on a tablet is slower), but even a mid-range Android tablet works in a pinch. No expensive software to buy — all tools run in the browser. We send a full setup checklist a day before the first session.
