AI & Coding Classes
for Kids in Hyderabad
Live online classes for children aged 8 to 18 across Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Python, AI and real projects in batches of no more than 8, ideally started well before the Intermediate years fill up the calendar.
Build the skills before Intermediate takes over
For many Hyderabad families, the plan after Class 10 is clear: a junior college, often with entrance coaching folded in, and two very full years. That leaves the middle-school years as the best time to learn to code properly. Plural uses that window well, with one focused class a week that builds steadily.
⏳ Use the calmer years
Classes 5 to 10 usually have more breathing room than Intermediate. A weekly class now means real skills later, without fighting for time.
🗣️ Gentle on language
Classes are in English, but the vocabulary is small and mentors explain it. Children moving from Telugu or Urdu medium settle in at their own pace.
🤖 Real Python and AI
Older students train simple models, use language models through APIs and learn where AI gets things wrong.
📱 From home, on Zoom
No trip across the city for a class. Your child joins from Kukatpally, Kondapur, Secunderabad or wherever you live.
👥 Eight per batch
A mentor who knows your child's work, from IIT Madras, IIM Ahmedabad, Google (ex-Google) or a funded startup.
🛡️ Full refund after 2 classes
Attend the first 2 live classes. If it is not the right fit, the full fee comes back to you.
What Telangana schools are doing, and where Plural fits
Hyderabad has state board schools, a large number of CBSE schools, ICSE schools and a growing set of international ones. Plural works the same way for all of them because we do not follow any board's syllabus.
BSE Telangana and the Intermediate board
State board schools prepare students for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam at the end of Class 10, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana through its Directorate of Government Examinations (official website). After that, most students move to junior colleges for Classes 11 and 12, called Intermediate, where public exams in both years are run by the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE).
English medium and bilingual textbooks
Telangana began introducing English medium in government schools from the 2022-23 academic year, with bilingual textbooks so that children could move across from Telugu gradually. Many families across the state are in the middle of that shift. Plural's small batches suit children who understand the logic well but are still growing into English technical words.
AI in state schools
The state has also started teaching AI. The School Education Department, with Amazon Future Engineer and the Pi Jam Foundation, has introduced AI literacy for Classes 5 to 9 in government schools, using a textbook developed by SCERT Telangana. Official notices are on the School Education Department website. A child who has met these ideas at school can use Plural to go from understanding AI to building with it.
CBSE schools
CBSE schools can offer Artificial Intelligence as a skill subject in Classes 9 and 10. Our guide to CBSE AI subject code 417 explains what it covers, and the CBSE website has the official scheme.
One evening a week, without the drive
Hyderabad is spread out, and families in Secunderabad, the western IT suburbs and the old city can be an hour or more apart in traffic. A weekly class that requires a drive soon becomes the class that gets skipped. Plural is live on Zoom, so the only commute is to the desk.
We run batches on weekday evenings and weekends. Current timings go out on WhatsApp when you reserve, and you choose the slot that fits around school and tuition.
Exam season is earlier than many parents expect. In 2026, Intermediate public exams began in the last week of February, and SSC exams ran from mid-March to mid-April, with practicals before both. Plenty of families pause for those weeks and return in summer, which is also a good time to start a new track.
If your child is 12 or 13 and you want to know what is realistic, our page on coding for 12-year-olds sets it out plainly.
Ideas a Hyderabad student could explore
Projects are more fun when they start from something a child has seen around them. These are ideas to explore with a mentor, not descriptions of past student work.
🏞️ Lake health tracker
Collect photos and notes from a nearby lake across seasons and chart how its water and surroundings change.
☀️ Summer heat planner
Use weather data to suggest safe hours for outdoor play during April and May, and send a reminder to drink water.
🔤 Telugu and Urdu flashcards
A vocabulary app in two scripts, which also teaches how computers handle text that is not English.
🚇 Metro trip helper
Work out the quickest mix of metro and bus for a regular trip, and how long it takes at different times of day.
💊 Medicine reminder
A simple reminder tool for a grandparent, with large text and clear alerts. A good lesson in designing for real users.
🕌 Heritage walk guide
A small website with a walking route and short facts about historic places in the old city.
