AI & Coding Classes
for Kids in Pune
Live online classes for children aged 8–18, in batches of no more than 8. For the Pune child who already loves maths and puzzles, and for the one who hasn't found their spark yet, from Kothrud to Kharadi, all on Zoom.
A city of engineers deserves more than certificate courses
Pune has long been called the Oxford of the East, and plenty of Pune parents work in IT parks, labs or engineering firms themselves. You already know the difference between a child who can follow a tutorial and one who can build something on their own. That difference is what we teach.
Thinking before typing
Each class starts with a problem, not a syntax lesson. Children learn to break it into steps first, then write the code.
Real Python and AI
Older students write Python, call AI models from their own code and train small machine learning models of their own.
Logic that carries over
The problem-solving we practise is the same kind of reasoning that maths and coding olympiads reward.
Up to 8 per batch
Questions get answered during class, not saved for later. The mentor sees every child's screen and progress.
Mentors who ship software
From IIT Madras, IIM Ahmedabad, ex-Google teams and funded startups: people who build products, not just teach them.
2 classes to decide
Attend the first 2 live classes. Not the right fit? We refund the full amount.
The city where Maharashtra's school decisions are made
Pune is the headquarters of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), which runs the SSC and HSC exams, and of SCERT Maharashtra, the state's curriculum and teacher-training body. Most Pune children study in State Board, CBSE or ICSE schools, with some IB and Cambridge schools as well.
What the state is doing about AI
In July 2026, SCERT Maharashtra and the Kotak Education Foundation launched AI Saathi for Educators, a Marathi-language course on the DIKSHA platform that forms part of mandatory online training for around 7.5 lakh teachers from Grades 1 to 12 (The CSR Universe). It builds teachers' AI literacy rather than teaching students to code, but the direction is clear. AI is arriving in state board classrooms, and children who understand how it works underneath will get far more from it than those who only use it.
CBSE and ICSE
CBSE schools are adding Computational Thinking and AI to Classes 3 to 8 from 2026–27, and offer an optional AI subject in Classes 9 and 10 (CBSE curriculum). We've written up what CBSE's Code 417 actually covers. ICSE schools teach Computer Applications in Java from Class 9 (CISCE). In both cases, school gives the vocabulary; a weekly build session gives the practice.
Olympiads and competitions
Many Pune families take maths and science olympiads seriously, and coding olympiads are a natural next step for some children. Our guide to coding olympiads for school students in India explains which ones exist and who they suit.
Fitting coding around school, tuitions and everything else
A typical Pune child's week is already full: school (some schools run in shifts), tuitions, sport, music or dance. Getting across the city at peak hours, say between Hinjewadi and Hadapsar, can take a long time, which is why so many after-school activities quietly drop off by the second term.
Plural asks for one 90-minute live class a week, 4 a month, in evening and weekend batches on Zoom. Because batches fill and change, we share the current timings on WhatsApp once you reserve a seat, and you pick the one that works around your child's timetable.
Plan around two seasons. State Board Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) exams fall in February and March, and CBSE board exams also begin in February. Festival weeks such as Ganeshotsav and Diwali shift routines too. Tell us your child's class and board when you reserve a seat and we'll help you choose a sensible start date.
Ideas a Pune kid could build
Starting points a mentor might help your child turn into a real project, drawn from what's around them in Pune.
Car dashboard simulator
Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad are a major automotive hub. A Code Explorers student could code an on-screen dashboard showing speed, fuel and warning lights.
Metro plus bus planner
A simple trip planner that combines Pune Metro stations with PMPML bus stops near your home, for the routes your family actually uses.
River watch explainer
A page that explains how water releases from dams upstream, such as Khadakwasla, can raise the Mula-Mutha in the monsoon, using publicly shared updates.
Tonight's sky
In a city with astronomy institutes like IUCAA, a Python program that lists which planets are visible tonight and when they rise makes a fun first data project.
Air quality diary
Log air quality readings near school for a month and chart them. Then ask: which days are worse, and why might that be?
Marathi word quiz
A flashcard quiz that helps younger siblings or classmates practise Marathi vocabulary, with an AI-generated example sentence for each word.
Choosing between providers? Our checklist on how to choose an AI course for kids lists the questions worth asking any class, including ours.
Three tracks, one for each stage
Code Explorers
Games, apps and websites in JavaScript and Python. Read more on coding for 10-year-olds.
AI Builders
Machine learning, real AI APIs and portfolio projects. See coding for 12-year-olds if your child is just below the cut-off.
The Squad plan puts your child in a batch of just 4 for ₹10,000 a month, still 4 live 90-minute classes.
